In order to ensure the health and safety of all boarding pets, all pets are required to have had a physical exam by an Animal & Bird Health Care Center Doctor within the past 12 months.

The following vaccinations must be up to date

Dogs: Distemper, Bordetella and Rabies
Cats: Distemper, Rabies

Flea Policy: All boarding pets must be free of fleas and have had an application of a recognized flea and tick preventative within the previous 30 days. If the pet is due for an application, one will be applied at the owners expense.

Medical Illness Policy: One of the advantages of boarding your pet at Animal & Bird Health Care Center is that veterinary attention is readily available should the need arise. If your pet becomes ill, we will call the emergency number(s) listed regarding your pet's signs, and treatment options. If no one can be reached, we will initiate whatever services the doctor deems necessary for the best care for your pet until someone can be reached.
